Here at Gourmet Brownie, we love autumn. We also like a challenge. What if we could bring together everything we love about autumn and put it in a brownie?
We sat down and thought about what makes the perfect autumn day – from colourful, crunchy leaves to hedgerows full of berries. Our favourite way to unwind after a busy week is to kick through the leaves, collect conkers and chase around after our spaniel puppy, Skye.
When we get back home, we like to share a family meal and enjoy a good old-fashioned pudding like apple crumble and custard. It’s all about cosy comfort, especially now the nights are drawing in.
We wanted to capture that cosy Sunday afternoon feeling in a brownie.
Our limited-edition seasonal flavours are a regular opportunity to stretch our creativity and learn new skills. It’s our favourite part of the job! We want to make the most of nature’s bounty in the best way we know how. Right now, the orchards of Britain are bursting with beautiful apples.
So, this month, we’re giving those gorgeous seasonal apples the Gourmet Brownie treatment. After much experimenting, and just the right amount of sugar and spice, we’ve created four fabulously autumnal brownies which we can’t wait to share with you.

We’ll be showcasing our special seasonal brownies, along with all our classic flavours, at our favourite autumn events. The highlight of the season is the Ely Apple Festival and the Burwash Manor Apple Day.
The Ely Apple Festival is always going to hold a special place in our hearts. We’ve been at every one for the last six years and we wouldn’t miss it for the world. It’s a chance to have your apples identified by an expert, sample local apple juice, watch Morris dancers, and eat delicious produce – and it all happens on the green overlooked by our beautiful cathedral.
