You will remember from my last post that I baked delicious fig and frangipane tartlets from ‘Sweet’. Once we had indulged in these delicious treats I went on a search to find a recipe that incorporate figs into a brownie recipe.
Oh my goodness as you open the pages of ‘Sweet’ by Yotam Ottolenghi & Helen Goh your breath is taken away by stunning photography of delicious sweet treats. The array of colours and flavours is a party waiting to happen.
This weekend we are returning to where it all started for our family business, as some might say we are returning to our roots. We are excited to once again be trading at our local Farmers’ Market in the beautiful city of Ely.
Events season is here! It’s not even the end of May and we’ve already had the Ely Food Festival, Kirstie’s Handmade Fair, Pub in the Park and many more. 2018 is our biggest year yet and we’ve got 25 events in 20 weeks.
We love this time of year. Everything is waking up after a long, cold winter and there’s a definite spring in our step. When the sun shines, it’s hard not to feel inspired and excited about the summer months to come....
Here at Gourmet Brownie, we know how hard mums work. Some days it feels like the best job in the world – and sometimes it’s tough. No matter how big your children get, you never stop being a full-time mum. This Mothering Sunday, our brownie gift boxes make it easy for you to say, ‘thank you’.
