What makes our brownies Gourmet?

We get asked this all the time when we are out at shows and events. It starts with one Signature recipe which is the foundation of our business. This uses only five delicious ingredients to get the perfect combination of taste and texture, no preservatives or additives. From there its all about the flavours, tried and tested and yes some rejected.

What ingredients do we use?

As you might imagine its about using the best quality ingredients available so, full cream butter, organic flour, Belgium Chocolate, British sugar and fresh free range eggs from our local farmer Alan, who has been supplying us from the very beginning.

Are there allergens in the brownies?

All our brownies contain milk, eggs, gluten, and there may be traces of nuts (especially in the nut flavours) as our kitchen is not nut free!

Is gluten free an option?

We are working on this to ensure our gluten free brownies are really gluten free (less than 20 parts per million is the legal requirement). On our last test our process was less than 5 parts per million but until this becomes a regular process we recommend that you contact us to discuss the option.

Are your brownies suitable for vegetarians?

For sure... dig on in and enjoy.

How long do the brownies keep?

Our brownies keep for 14 days from leaving our kitchen. You must store them at room temperature in an air tight container.

Can I freeze the brownies?

We would be surprised if you didn't indulge in them all in one sitting but yes brownies freeze brilliantly. They should be taken out their packaging and wrapped appropriately. They can be then be frozen for up to 3 months. Remove from the freezer for 3 hours before serving.

Can I add a gift card to my order?

We provide a personalised gift card for every order of a Gourmet Brownie gift box. You will be asked for your personalised message at the checkout stage of ordering and this will be hand-written onto a gift card for the intended recipient.

Do we pay for delivery?

All our prices included delivery.

How are the brownies delivered?

We use Royal Mail and they are delivered 1st class, which means they should be with you the following day.

Where do we deliver?

We currently deliver across the UK and Northern Ireland delivery service, the majority of which is next day. However for Scottish Highlands & Islands and Northern Ireland these may take slightly longer to arrive. So please hold this in mind when you order.

Do you deliver internationally?

Our brownies are produced for each order freshly from our kitchen and having a short shelf life we cannot guarantee that they will reach their destination abroad with enough time left for the recipient to enjoy the brownies at their best. So unfortunately no.

Can I pre-order for a specific date i.e a birthday present?

When you place your order you can specify you preferred delivery date. More than 95% of our gift boxes are delivered on time, however if your brownies are time critical, for instance for a wedding or party, then we would suggest that you have you brownies delivered a day earlier just to be certain. They will still be fresh.

Will the brownies need to be signed for?

No, Royal Mail will leave a delivery card if you or the recipient is out. So you can pop down to your Royal Mail office and pick them up... don't forget a form of identification.

How do I do this?

As a small family business we pride ourselves on being able to look after people. Please feel free to make contact either by phone or email and we will help you from there.

How do I purchase for a farm shop, deli, cafe or garden centre

Again please feel free to make contact and we will take you through the options for our retail packs and slabs.

What is the final date I can order for Christmas this year (2017)?

We will be accepting the last orders for Christmas 10am on Monday 18th December.

Returns

If in the unlikely event that you have a complaint or problem with the ordered items, we must receive your complaint in writing and all packages must be returned to us by post within the best before date of the chocolate brownies.
