NOVEMBER - 2017

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! It may only be November, but the Gourmet Brownie bakery is full of the comforting scent of our delicious festive recipes.

This year we launched our new ‘brownies by post’ service – with a range of feel-good gift boxes that are ready to send wherever they’re needed. Things just got even better. Let us introduce you to our Christmas Gift Box, a gorgeous selection bursting with all our favourite seasonal ingredients – from fresh cranberries to dried fruit and spices.

Each box contains two generous pieces each of Christmas Pudding, Winter Berry, Hazelnut Crunch, as well as our 2017 Great Taste Award-winning Gingerbread flavour. More information about these delicious flavours can be found here.

We love it when our brownies make people smile. We can’t wait to spread some festive cheer across the UK – on the big day itself, or a comforting pick-me-up for the weeks ahead. Our Christmas Box is the perfect gift by post – whether it’s for the tricky-to-buy-for person, new parents or an old friend. Or why not treat yourself? We can never resist nibbling on our favourite Christmas pudding flavour while we’re wrapping presents on Christmas Eve.

EXCLUSIVE TREATS AT OUR FESTIVE EVENTS

The run-up to Christmas is one of our busiest times of the year – and also one of the most special. We’ll be out and about at lots of festive events with some special exclusive flavours for you to try, alongside all our classic favourites.

Baileys Fudge. Christmas isn’t complete without a glass of Baileys. We’ve added a layer of Baileys fudge to our classic signature brownie for a truly indulgent treat.

Mint choc chip. A delicious peppermint brownie with dark chocolate chunks. Topped with mint-flavoured buttercream and a dark mint chocolate. It’s the perfect after-dinner treat.

Orange Chocolate Chip. One of our favourite Christmas traditions is finding a Terry’s Chocolate Orange at the bottom of our stockings. This chocolate orange brownie, topped with orange fondant and a segment of Chocolate Orange is everything you could wish for.

Speculoos. This special spiced biscuit is a traditional Christmas treat in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Our spiced brownie has all the flavours of Christmas – including cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. It’s topped with special buttercream and a delicious chocolate treat.

Ferrero Rocher. This is another favourite Christmas treat. We couldn’t resist giving it the Gourmet Brownie treatment. We’ve packed our signature brownie base with caramel, hazelnuts and a whole Ferrero Rocher.

If you want to try any of our new flavours, you’ll need to come along to one of our festive events – including the Ely Cathedral Food and Gift Fair. Keep reading to find out where else we’ll be. We can’t wait to see what you think!

GIVING SOMETHING BACK

Christmas is a time for thinking of others. An incredibly important part of our festive season is giving something back to our community. This year we’re busy raising funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge.

We want to celebrate the amazing work of the hospice. So, this year we’re joining in with the annual Arthur Rank Accumulator Challenge – which sees local teams compete to raise as much money as possible for the hospice.

So far, Team Gourmet Brownie has raised over £900 with our Farmers’ Market Egg Raffle, fundraising sales and our Christmas Tasters challenge. Over the coming weeks we’ll be out and about in our new horse box full of delicious brownies. All profits from sales at these special events will go to the Arthur Rank Hospice. Our next fundraising event is at Scott’s Farm, Witchford, 26 November
